Monday, January 18, 2010 Rochester, NY - Flanked on either side by Assemblymen Morelle and Gantt, Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy announced a few days ago that Governor Paterson, along with Assembly Hatchet-Man Sheldon Silver, and the temporary President of the dysfunctional State Senate, Malcolm A. Smith, announced that legislation enabling Rochester's City Hall to dissolve the duly elected RCSD Board of Education, would be introduced post-haste. However, NY State United Teachers (NYSUT) has threatened legal action if the governor and Mayor Duffy proceed.
